Corporate culture at ACH

Share it on your networks

We would like to share with you the corporate culture at ACH, this being a very important matter for our company, and that sets us apart from our competitors.

Our culture reflects itself in our behaviour with our suppliers, the customer service and, above all, on how we implement our values to the daily work.

The implication and commitment of all the members of the Agroalimentaria Chico group make us strong. We are grateful for the collaboration of this big family to keep on strengthening our corporate culture.

Elements of the corporate culture

Values and beliefs

The values are the foundations that guide our decision making, the information and communication processes and the motivation of our workforce.

Our values are:

Learning is an essential component of the personal and organizational development. The effort, energy and motivation drive us to explore new paths in the sector.

Our commitment to the project and the ACH family is complete. We adapt ourselves to the needs of our team through a shared management and a clear vision of our purpose.

With humbleness as our guide, we assess the coherence between our actions and our values.

These values make us evolve. They are principles that are passed from one generation to the next.

Purpose, mission and vision

What is the reason for the existence of our company? What do we do? How would we like to see ourselves in the future?

The purpose:

To feed families with the best products that our land has to offer, making this with the maximum attention for detail.

The mission:

To produce pork products in a sustainable way, innovating in all the processes of the value chain and always respecting animal welfare and the environment.

The vision:

To be a family-owned business with a continuous growth and with a permanent focus on innovation to take the best that our land has to offer to your home.

Internal communication

We have decided to have a free-flowing and effective communication, so all our workforce knows ACH’s objectives and plans.

One of the first actions that we have taken to implement it is to send a monthly message from our CEO, Mr. Jaime Chico, in which he motivates and informs us about Agroalimentaria Chico’s next steps.

Structure and training plans

We think that giving responsibility and autonomy is essential to reach the participation and commitment of each of ACH’s members.

That is why we have training plans for the integrated staff and the workers that make us more competitive and make our workers feel more satisfied with their job.

Symbols

Our CEO, Mr. Jaime Chico, together with the managers of SAT Hermanos Chico, Hermanos Chico Galindo and Cárnicas Chico, are our inspiration.
They embody the company’s values and they are symbols/leaders that guide us and motivate us towards a common goal.

Rituals

They are the perfect opportunity to promote our culture and the communication between all the members of Agroalimentaria Chico.

We have several: our Christmas lunch, our team meetings, the manuals for welcoming new employees…

They are activities that we carry out in key moments, and that we have had to modify or adapt because of the pandemic. For instance, our last Christmas toast was virtual, and we have recently organized our company’s first streaming session.

It was an event in which our CEO and the managers of the companies participated, and it served as a starting point for the new corporate culture that we are implementing.

You can watch it here:

At Agroalimentaria Chico we adapt to the new situations and the digital environment.

Our company’s greatest asset is the talent of our workforce: the great ACH family. Because of this we believe in and work for the implementation of a strong corporate culture that brings together everybody’s efforts and helps us to reach all the objectives proposed.
